Today we met the other exhibition co0ordinator. The first thing we did was help her tidy the basement under the gallery. This area is used for storing packaging etc and we had alot to put down there to clear the gallery floor.
Once this was done there was a small amount of painting to do. All the packed art was collected by the courier.
In the afternoon we re arranged some of the cabinets in the shop adding perspex stands etc to give a better 3D effect and to show off the items.
The co-ordinator arranged the big wall to ceiling boards how she wanted them. The gallery is going to be in 2 parts. The bottom gallery displaying work from a group called Textilia based in Skipton. The main gallery for the featured artists. We unpacked the Textilia work and arranged it on tissue paper where the co-ordinator wanted it ready for mounting tomorrow.
