I have managed to sort out a work placement here in my new home town of Clitheroe.
I had an informal interview with Katherine Rodgers who is the Arts Development officer at the Platform Gallery on the Wed 23/12/09. She asked me whether I would like to do a weekly placement and pick up on the Art Dev side of things or a block placement to witness and be part of an exhibition change over...I chose the latter.
I will be taking part in my work experience for the change over between 15-19 March 2010 and am sure it will be a valuable experience.
I have a pre-placement interview yet to be arranged with Liz Rawson who is a Personnel Officer at the Council offices in Clitheroe to fill in necessary paperwork.
Other than that there is a new exhibition on at the Gallery this month if anyone is interested.
